Personal Information. We do not collect personally identifiable information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. This happens when you donate a vehicle. At that time, you are asked to specify such information as name, address, make, model, etc.

In addition, we collect some general information about visitors to our website, www.givingheartofamerica.org.

Standard Web server traffic pattern information. General traffic, site usage, and length of stay information is collected and stored in log files. This type of information is shared externally only on an aggregated basis. No tracking of personal, identifiable information is conducted as part of collecting standard web traffic information.

Internal Use

1. If you do not make a donation or otherwise identify yourself, we will have no personally identifiable information about you. If you utilize our website, we will only use aggregate information derived, in part, from your use of our site to improve our site and our service to you.
2. If you wish to make a donation and provide personal information, we may enter your name into our donor database and contact you in order to complete the donation process.

A copy of our Privacy Policy is sent to every donor along with the donation receipt. The above listed "opt out" options are listed in that policy. To select one those options, please so indicate on the card and return it to us by mail in the addressed, postage paid envelope provided.

If you contact us with an opt-out request, all reasonable efforts will be taken to ensure that you will not receive any of the selected communications from us in the future. If you do not wish to opt out at this time, you may do so at a later date should you so desire.
