Our mission is to provide faith-based humanitarian support and related services to Fallen Heroes and their families. In order to accomplish that purpose, our programs consist of two distinct approaches which are described below. Operation Fallen Hero is administered using both approaches:

• Direct charitable activity
• Indirect charitable support

There are two types of Fallen Heroes.

First, a sizeable number of brave service men and women are returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with life-changing injuries. They often face a lifetime of new and difficult physical challenges.

Second, a significant number of our brave heroes never make it home at all. The grieving families left behind often include a dependent spouse and/or dependent children who have lost a best friend, a provider, and leader.

Operation Fallen Hero provides badly needed assistance in both situations. At Giving Heart of America, we feel that it is incumbent on all of us who have been so richly blessed to stand with these precious families as they work to put their lives back together.

Indirect charitable support consists of contributions of financial support to other 501(c)(3) organizations whose charitable purposes are compatible with our own. We support:

Selected Organizations. We are always in the process of selecting worthy organizations which we believe to be compatible with our charitable philosophy. A portion of our overall Indirect Charitable Support goes to these organizations. Partial List

Designated Organizations. To the extent reasonable, we allow our donors to suggest other charities or organizations to which they would like to see a portion of the proceeds of their donation directed. We reserve the right to limit all such designations to organizations which are legitimate 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organizations or churches whose philosophies we embrace.
